Why all the that wasted time about the rich Greeks then? Some of you probably remember Marc Mezvinsky, CVC's veritable Gordon Gecko of a husband. His hedge fund Eaglevale, that he founded with a pair of ex Goldman guys and Michael Fox of Woodbine Capital, lost very large on their Eaglevale Hellenic Opportunity Fund [1]. Which especially sucked for working class Californians, because it included CalPERS money [2] along with private capital. The fund focused on Greek stocks and bonds, and HRC looked for bailout plans [3] like a cool mom-in-law. She even acidwashed a moderately significant attachment [4]. I'm sure she regrets it, though.
